Are you fucking kidding me? Like, no, Shakespeare wouldn’t tweet a sonnet cause 140 characters is a bit short for that. Wrong medium. But you know what he would have? A very active twitter FULL OF DICK PUNS AND YOUR MOM JOKES okay. (And probably also a blog for the sonnets and longer works, that cross-posts links to twitter anyway.)
Get out of here with that pretentious anti-technology bullshit.

I have bipolar disorder and I want to get pregnant (much later in life) but I'm nervous about the added hormones, the mood swings I get on my period right now can cause me to get seriously depressed. Do you know what possible risks there are for someone with Bipolar disorder to get pregnant? When I google it, I can't really find any good sources.

themidwifeisin:

Bipolar Disorder (for my readers who don’t know) is a mental health condition.  People with Bipolar Disorder can experience extreme mood swings that take three different forms: mania (extremely happy, energetic, aggressive, agitated, easily distractible), depression (low mood, sadness, tiredness, low self-esteem), or mixed (For example, a person may feel very sad or hopeless while also feeling extremely energized. In addition, they are often agitated, have trouble sleeping, experience major changes in appetite, experience delusions or hallucinations, and have suicidal thoughts).

During pregnancy and the postpartum period, it is common for people to have more bipolar episodes if they’re not being treated.  I don’t know if you’re currently using any medications for treatment, but when you decide to get pregnant, please consider using something.  The two preferred medications for pregnant and postpartum people are Lithium and Lamotrigine.  There are some risks to using medications during pregnancy, but when weighing risks and benefits, providers tend to consider taking medication to be less risky than going without.  In certain circumstances people with very mild bipolar disorder can consider going without during pregnancy, but that is a careful conversation to be had with your provider.

From the resources that I have access to, it seems that carefully controlled bipolar disorder shouldn’t affect your pregnancy and birth experience.  Good luck!

This is it. This is pretty much the pentacle of male privilege in the U.S. When a husband whole heartedly believes that he is a victim to unfair treatment by his wife because she denied him sex 26 times in a month.

When a man think his pleasures is more important than a women NOT WANTING TO HAVE SEX and since they are married he has every right to her body and by denying him access to her body she is denying him said right.

He thinks her “excuses” for having sex are also unreasonable. And what are some of those “excuses”?

-She was too tired to have sex.

-She was sick.

-She was too drunk.

-She felt tender (in vaginal region) after having sex the other day.

-They didn’t have enough time because they had somewhere to be. (Which means he was fully prepared to have enough time to get himself off INSIDE his wife while knowing they wouldn’t have enough time for her pleasure)

These are all unreasonable “excuses”

I saw the Reddit thread, and most people were siding with him because she was committing the unacceptable crime of not having sex with him, and even among those who were more sympathetic were starting with ”he did it in an immature way…BUT” and it’s just so depressing how much people hate women that are not ”fulfilling their purpose” of being fucked by men.

The comments on the Buzzfeed link are full of women defending the guy.

It makes me so fucking sick.

Jesus Christ in fucking heaven… This is a damn shame. Men need to step the fuck up and learn not to expect sex just cuz they got a dick or “urges”. Like, I got urges, too. I got urges to kick people in the throat on a daily basis. But am I gonna be a dick of a human about it and be like “But sir, i wanna kick you in the throat. I deserve to do it. What are you telling me ‘no’ for? Don’t be like that…” I’m gonna control my urges cuz maybe the dude was having a bad day or was yelled at by their boss and couldn’t hold it in. I’m gonna respect that. I’m not gonna be a dick. I’m gonna back the fuck off. Shit example, but you get the point…
